Everyone at Preseli's Flint office was delighted when Ava (she is being held by Dave in the picture below) visited the Chester office with her sister Scarlett and her mum Joanne on Friday 5th June. The office quickly became the playgound for the two sweet girls and they both seemed particularly taken with Simon our resident artwork guru. Anyone needing child care support should get in the queue because Simon will now be fully booked with our kids for the rest of the year!
Ava is the little girl that David Wilson (M.D.) and Justin Jones (Office Manager) ran the Chester Half Marathon to raise money for. Through generous donations from customers, suppliers, colleagues, friends and family they have been able to raise £2,341 so far for Tree of Hope to support Ava Evans in getting her walking wish. 3 year old Ava, from Prestatyn, was born with a condition that means that, unless she can travel to the US for a life-changing operation, she will never walk.
The fund raising is going well for Ava and her family and they are well on there way to reaching enough to pay for the operation and will then focus on the monies required for on-going support and the lengthy process of rehabilitation. Preseli will be continuing to support this amazing little girl over the coming months.
Following the visit Dave & Justin said, “It was fantastic to meet Ava, Scarlett and Joanne. It was so good to hear their story and to understand the incredible difference this operation could make to the whole family. Ava and Scarlet made a great impression on everyone and we wish the whole family the very best for the future.”
